Sora Tab ("we", "our", or "the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our browser extension.

What Data We Collect

Sora Tab collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:

1. Tab Information:
   • Tab titles
   • Tab URLs
   • Favicon URLs
   • Timestamp of when tabs were saved
2. User Preferences:
   • Theme selection (light/dark/auto)
   • Sort and filter preferences
   • Group names and descriptions
   • Custom colors for tab groups

How We Store Your Data

• Local Storage Only: All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API
• No Cloud Storage: We do not store any data on external servers
• No Account Required: No registration, login, or account creation is necessary
• No Data Collection: We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information

Data Usage

We use the collected data solely to:

• Display your saved tabs in the extension
• Restore tabs when you choose to open them
• Organize and manage your tab groups
• Provide search and filter functionality

Permissions Explanation

Sora Tab requests the following permissions:

1. tabs: Required to read tab information (title, URL, favicon) when you save tabs
2. storage: Required to save your tab groups locally in your browser
3. notifications: Required to show success notifications when saving tabs via keyboard shortcuts

We do NOT request or use:

• Access to your browsing history beyond the tabs you explicitly save
• Access to any websites' content
• Network access to transmit data anywhere

Data Sharing

• We do not share your data with any third parties
• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not transmit your data outside your local device
• We do not track or analyze your browsing behavior

Data Security

• All data remains on your local device
• Data is stored using Chrome's secure storage APIs
• You can export your data at any time using the built-in export feature
• You can delete all your data by removing the extension

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

1. View Your Data: All data is visible in the extension's options page
2. Export Your Data: Use the "Export Data" button to download your tab groups as JSON
3. Delete Your Data:
   • Delete individual tab groups
   • Clear all data by uninstalling the extension
4. No Data Recovery: If you uninstall the extension, all local data is permanently deleted

Third-Party Services

Sora Tab does NOT use any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools.

Children's Privacy

Sora Tab does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The extension stores data locally only.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the extension's listing and within the extension itself. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Breach Notification

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate any servers, there is no risk of data breaches on our end. Your data security depends on your device's security.

International Users

Since all data is stored locally on your device, no international data transfer occurs.
